Just a word about the hand cream. I have some acetate floss on old wooden spools given to me by a friend. I love the colors, but this particular floss frays worse than any I've ever used, including the Japanese silk floss. It reminds me of what I used to deal with in the '60s. I've never liked wearing the silk gloves, and I was about to give up on this lovely old floss completely.
- Tonight I gave Yosemite Fly Tyer's Finger Treatment the acid test. I tied the attached fly, using the old acetate floss. As you can see, (below) Yosemite worked wonders. Typically, this floss would fray just unwinding it from the spool, but with the hand cream, I could let it slide through my fingers while winding with absolutely no fraying. Great stuff!
- I've found that the tiniest amount works best, as long as you cover the cuticles and finger tips. Using a small amount, I get no greasy feel at all. I really like this cream very much, and will recommend it highly. It makes winding floss and delicate materials a breeze! It seems to repair any rough spots on your hands instantly. I'm a fan. Do want to thank you for using all natural, 100% safe ingredients in your creme. Last week, when we went out to dinner, our curious puppy (3 years old ... she should know better by now!) pulled one of the defective packages out of the wastebasket, diligently worked the wrapper off, opened the jar, and proceeded to lick the creme out of the jar! When we returned home she had the guilty puppy look, the empty jar was on the floor in the livingroom, and she had one of the smoothest tongues I've ever seen! No ill effects, but she doesn't want to come too close when I'm applying it for tying!
Thank you for a great product! I'll be taking it with me when I visit my local fly shops and knitting stores.
